About Thunderbird Village

Thunderbird Village is a place where nature provides the stage and backdrop for each adventure, we just provide you with a safe and comfortable place to live as it unfolds.

Years ago we discovered what it was like to have a less than stellar vacation rental experience. We’re not going to bore you with details, lets just say that it provided the fuel and motivation we needed to find a vacation property. A place we could return again and again knowing that it will always be how we like it, fresh, clean, rustic, with personality, style, elegance, and updated for the modern world.

We were familiar with Hatfield, Wisconsin and in a serendipitous manner we discovered that the old “flea market” place was going up for sale. We thought wow, what a great property for us to put up our very own vacation cabin.

We kinda knew what we were getting into with the flea market because we’ve been there before, we knew the outdoor venue, some of the vendors, and how much this tradition meant to the Hatfield tourist community.

Didn’t know at the time that we would be having nearly 200 vendors. Or that we would be giving up our vacation home as a rental, and expanding into larger group rentals. It’s been a lot of learning, and a ton of work but we wouldn’t give it up for anything.

So that’s how it all started and that is why we

• Take the time ourselves to clean out the cabin after each use.
• Personally wash all the bedding and make sure each bed is made.
• Provide clean fresh towels, beautiful walk in showers, and all the fixings for our favorite scrumptious pancakes.
• Personally greet and welcome all of our visitors.

We truly believe we provide the best value vacation experience, we want you to enjoy the memories created with family and friends and keep coming back .
